I recently purchased an Audiovox 5600 and a Jabra 250v headset

After setting it up and using sveral times, the only way I can get it to
work is, once I have turned the headset, to go to Settings--> Bluetooth -->
Bluetooth --> devices --> Set as hands free device

If I do not do this, it doesn't work and the profile does not change to
"Headset"

I think it should automatically activate when I turn the headset on.

What am I doing wromg ?

Many Thanks

JM

Make sure you pair your BT250 with the phone as a hands-free device. See step
13 in the BT250 user manual for instructions. Once you have done this, the
headset will automatically connect to the phone when you turn it on. Note
that the profile will be "Normal", not "Headset".

Thanks - deleting it, and re-pairing it and asking for it to be a handsfree
device worked

But the profile is "Handset"

Thanks again
