Please log in for more thread options Tried this -- didn't work for me. Could see the device, but not the storage
card, in WMP11 on a Vista Ultimate laptop. Followed these directions, and
when I plugged in the device, it was redetected in WMP11, but not the
storage card.

> # Navigate to C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media

> # Back up the contents of that folder
> # Delete the contents of that folder
> # Start Windows Media Player...it will scan your media library
> # Plug your mobile device in, and Media Player will recognize it and any
> storage cards installed in it.
