Please log in for more thread options You may also set the Node Type to 0x8 in your DHCP Options settings - this
would force client name resolvers to seek WINS, only then NetBIOS Broadcast
(if NetBIOS is enabled as in default).
Now it's Unknown - I have seen this be the source of slow Windows startup on
client ("Preparing Network Connections" phase).
