Yesterday I tried to install a new Linksys 802.11G wireless card in my old
Fujitsu laptop running Windows 98.

As soon as I installed the software and restarted, I got a strange error
message, then a white screen that I had to reinstall Windows 98.

Needless to say this lost a LOT of stuff on the hard drive.

To make sure it was the software and not the laptop, I tried to install the
Linksys card again -- with the same result. Had to reinstall Windows 98
again

This card works fine in my newer laptop running Windows XP. But if you are
running Win98, beware.

Maybe you need an older 16bit card for your Fujistu?

It safely installed in my 3-year-old HP pavilion. Running WinXP

Are you familiar with Google's Gmail and Gmail drive? That really makes
backing up and offsite storage very easy.

Radio Shack has a closeout on the Motorola G card. It is superb.
I returned my Linksys card, it kept losing the connection.
