Hello,

I have been syncing via bluetooth to two different machines and occasionally
I get asked whether I want to replace the items on my PDA or combine or do
nothing.

One thing I have noticed is that when I choose combine I sometimes get
duplicate tasks, appointments, etc. and I was wondering if their is
something I can do to avoid these duplicates from occuring.

As well, I have noticed that if I am away from the computer when I'm doing
my wireless sync via bluetooth that the dialog box asking me if I want to
replace, combine or leave them alone will stay there and I'm wondering if
their is an option, command line switch or something that can prevent that
dialog box from staying popped up so that I can sync and not worry that I
have this window staying up there and that is why I can not complete a
wireless sync.

Regards

Curtis

ActiveSync does a best-fit match, but if the entries aren't identical
you'll see duplicates created when you try and combine. Best thing to
do is only change the items at one point (ie the PDA, or one of the
computers), and avoid changes elsewhere.

Nope - it needs to know what to do. You can set some basic options
under Tools -> Options, Rules tab, but this won't cover every possible
scenario.
