 I have an mpx200 running windows mobile 2003. I installed the new
avantgo beta client for smartphones. I synched it about 20 times over a
period of 12 hours but only 3 succeeded. I keep getting a 5463 error.
Which means my connection with my computer is timing out. which is a
bunch of nonsense. I contacted support and they said I needed to adjust
settings and synch at a different time, and my connection was to slow
etc.

I saw a few posts saying they had similar problems, and I just tried it
on my second desktop with the same issue. In case anyone was wondering
I am running active sync 4.1.

Let me clarify a few things, because I don't want to send the wrong
impression. I am a big fan of avantgo, I like their product and have
been using it for years on my palm m130. I recently acquired a smart
phone mpx200 its running a mobile 2003 OS. It seems that there are
several older smart phone models that are having trouble running the
avantgo client, this being one of them.

Here are the main reasons I have decided that I will have to live
without it until the next version comes out.

1) It can only work of the phones main memory which on the mpx200 is
very tight.
2) It is really slow on my phone
3) I am unable to sync consistently to get new content

I was able to sync successfully 2 times in over 30 attempts, and I
likes the way the browser looked and worked on my device. I will try
again later if a new version comes out.
