Hi

I am running Windows Media player 10 on Windows XP, and Windows Media
Player 10 mobile on an Orange SPV C500 mobile phone.

I now need to set up "auto sync" but I don't know how to. In Media
player(XP) there is a button "Set up Sync", but this is greyed out.
Anybody have any ideas here?

Note I can get Media Player to sync files with the mobile (no problems
at all) if I hit the "Start Sync" button in Media player (XP). Finally
please note I am also running ActiveSync 3.8.0 (build 5004) quite
happily.

Many Thanks!

Alex

Do you have the phone partnered with the PC? Active Sync running and phone
showing connected? When you hit the Sync tab, does MP 10 (PC) show looking
for devices. and then the phone and storage locations are shown in the right
hand window/dropdown list?

I am running WMedia Player10 on an Orange smartphone c550. I can't sync my
wma files on to the phone & it's driving me mad.

I can see the storage card in Media Player and it has about 979 MB free!
WMP10 starts syncing but then stops round about 7% on the 1st track. Then
all files are marked as Aborted Files.

Apparently Microsoft know about the problem but aren't doing anything about
it. My 1GB and my phone card cost me loads yet I can't get it to work.

Any solution yet Bill???

Adrian

When I got a 512MB card the c500 only recognised about 130MB of it until I
copied everything off it using a card reader, formatted it in the card
reader, then stuffed it back in the phone. I can now use 480MB of it.

Let me know how you get on...

Anyone else had problems syncing Windows Media Player to an Orange C550?
Did you fix it?
