Hi,

I have a Windows 2003 Small Business Server domain with a Terminal
Server/Applications Server. I have problems when I try to map network drives
from the terminal server to the SBS2003 server as it asks me to authenticate
again. This means that when I am running an application (e.g. Sage) which
utilizes the network paths it fails as I am not authenticated. The only work
around we have found is intermittent and involves logging onto the
http://companyweb site on the Terminal Server before trying to access any
network share.

Can anybody please give an explanation (and more importantly a solution !!)
to this infuriating problem.

Many thanks
PH

If the TS is a member of the domain in good standing I would think that
should not happen when using a domain user account to authenticate. Try
running the support tool netdiag on the domain controller and TS to make
sure all looks well with DNS, DC discovery, etc and check the logs of both
servers via Event Viewer for anything that may indicate a related problem.
