 Ok, the only thing preventing me from tossing my pager into the lake, and
finally just having to carry a single device, is the ability to enable some
sort of audible notification when a specifically tailored message arrives.
Is there anyway I can enable, on my Windows Mobile 5 device, an audible
notification based on some attribute of the incoming mail message? Curious
minds need to know. Thanks in advance!

 start/settings/personal/sounds/notifications then pulldown to find the
alarm you want to set.

Note... alarms are subject to the main volume settings... mute or use a
low setting and all notifications are impacted.

although custom rings are available with third party apps.

Try to use RJV ToneSetter. You can downlow it from
http://www.airfagev.com/downloads1.asp?id=115. Its a freeware. You can use
any audio file for any tone.
