Yes I am using active sync, I just finished speaking with Microsoft Support
and NEXTEL wireless data (2), after Motorola's iDen support indicated that
there are ports blocked on the Motorola i930 by NEXTEL as a corporate policy
to prevent malicious apps and like viruses from spreading on the iDen
network.
I personally think that a security policy like that is completely bogus and
hence my solicitation for any concerned windows mobile developer(s) on the
newsgroup who have a more in-depth insight to provide ways around this,
otherwise a $500 investment like this is certainly not worth it.
