I'm trying to install Adobe for pocket pc amongst other apps, but I can't
because it says the said applications were not digitally signed with a
trusted certificate. Is this what is reffered to as an application lock, can
someone please explain what this means and any ways around this?

respectfully

Are you using Active Sync? I got the Palm 700w this week and installed it
with no problem and I use Activesync. I also had it installed on my iPAQ
4355 with no problem as mentioned.

Hi Ann,

Yes I am using active sync, I just finished speaking with Microsoft Support
and NEXTEL wireless data (2), after Motorola's iDen support indicated that
there are ports blocked on the Motorola i930 by NEXTEL as a corporate policy
to prevent malicious apps and like viruses from spreading on the iDen
network.

I personally think that a security policy like that is completely bogus and
hence my solicitation for any concerned windows mobile developer(s) on the
newsgroup who have a more in-depth insight to provide ways around this,
otherwise a $500 investment like this is certainly not worth it.

regards
