Dear All,

I have a Microsoft 2003 Server with active directory enabled and 3
workstations ( Windows XP and 2000 pro )

I would like know which is the most antivirus system.

However, I use actually symantec SAV Server and client.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best Regards

Symantec SAV should work just fine. It sounds like you are already running
it. There are others out there that *may* run better with less demand on the
resources, but SAV is a solid product that works.

One factor to consider here is the cost of migrating. It will cost big bucks
(and time) for what could be a small benefit....

I would stay with what you have unless there are specific reasons to
change...

Hi Hank,

I agree 100 percent. SAV works and it has great rollout tools. If it isn't
broken, don't fix it, eh?

SAV may take system resources, but so does everything. Hank was right on
target. How much is your time worth? Do you want to discard the money you
have already spent on SAV?

I'm not personally a fan of anything Symantec do, but I have to say that if
you're basically happy with it then it is the best for you... you've
invested money licencing it, time learning how it works, and effort
deploying it... I wouldn't mess with that unless I had to.

fwiw, I use F-Secure instead - there are some nice deployment and management
tools there.
