Antarctic Digital Database: New web pages and services Paul Cooper 02-21-2007

 A new, experimental web site for the Antarctic Digital Database is now
available at http://www/add/scar/org:8080/add. The new web-site
provides access to the following services:

1) Data download in a variety of formats, including GML, Generate, WKT
and GMT.
2) Download in Shapefiles will shortly be available.
3) Access to an interactive map browser.
4) Online licensing for commercial use (under development).
5) Access to WFS and WMS OGC services.

All existing users of the Antarctic Digital Database have been
migrated to the new system. Your userid is now the email address with
which you originally registered; you should have received an email
with the new password.

It does work, most of the time! The server is still experimental; I am
afraid I can't guarantee 24/7 operation at present. Keep trying! It is
definitely up when I write this as I have just restarted it.
