I am using ActiveSync 4.1.0 Build 4841. Every now and then the "Allow
USB Connections" settings gets unchecked, so I am constantly having to
go back in and check it. Has anyone else experienced this and found a
solution? I think it may have something to do with multiple user
profiles on my WinXP machine. I have three profiles on the machine,
two of them each use a different pocketpc device, and the third doesn't
run activesync. The problem happens on both profiles that run
ActiveSync.

Hi,

If the user is not logged off, then you will experience this issue. I would
suggest before connecting the device, shut down the ActiveSync application
from memory and restart ActiveSync. In this case, you could use a third
party application which will shut it down and restart it. Some of them that
you can consider are:

* Resync: http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/applications/resync.htm

* ActiveSync Toggle: http://micrologics.co.uk/library/ast/
