I have an xv6700 Windows Mobile 5.0 device that can sync no problems with an
Exchange 2003 Enterprise SP2 server.

When clear the settings and try to sync using SSL with another Exchange 2003
Enterprise SP2 server support code 85010014 comes up. If I don't use SSL
support code 85010004 comes up and packet capture shows that server returns
403 - Request Forbidden.

When I point to the other Exchange server - again no problems. I have
compared settings and made the second server settings the same as the working
server. OWA with SSL and full Outlook work on both servers without problems.

What else can I look at?

Thanks,
Francis Palacio

Hi,
Did you see the list of error codes and possible solutions at
http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/exchange_errors.php?sort=WM_5_Error%20asc
?

Both error codes have descriptions and possible solutions.

Hi Chris,

It looks like unselecting "Require secure channel (SSL)" from
Microsoft-Server-Activesync virtual directory did the trick.

Thanks,
Francis Palacio
