I finally decided to post after not being able to figure this out since I
first got my phone ages ago.

I've only actually seen the resolve conflicts option once.
I've only been able to use the "stop" button on the menu bar once.

Everything is generally greyed out. Do I have a setting wrong? Everything
syncs automatically whether I set it to or not.

If I need to be more specific, let me know, but the whole activesync program
doesn't seem to be working right at all for me.

Thanks

OK, I have time to post details (sorry for the last lazy post previously).

Currently I'm using Activesync 3.8 (build 5004), but I've only been able to
resolve items once (my phone is about 2 years old) Fortunately, it's not
been a major issue, but I finally have some time (with someone's help) to try
and figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I am syncing everything (past 2 weeks of calendar, all contacts, incompleted
tasks, 3 days worth of inbox, and the clock) on my mobile device. Sync with
server box is unchecked.

Under scheduling: When connected to my PC - sync manually is checked (but
activesync starts syncing as soon as I plug in). Server schedule was set at
manually as was everything else, but I use no server, nothing else fancy.

Rules: Desktop - leave the item unsynced (I tried this to force issue
resolve - usually I have replace item on my computer selected) Server -
always replace item on my device. Pass through has Internet selected, but I
never connect this way. Always start activesync when I connect is checked.

What am I doing wrong? I have tried deleting the partnership and setting it
up again and it still doesn't allow me to use the STOP button on the menu bar
when syncing AND when I right click on the "calendar - 3 unresolved items"
line, I can either synchronize or go to settings, but the resolve option is
not available.

I never had this kind of problem with my Palm and maybe it's something
stupidly simple I'm just not aware of. Thanks for your input.
