I recently lost the ability to synchronize my phone with my with
Outlook calendar? [I don't do e-mails, just the calendar].
I have an HTC (T-mobile Dash) smartphone (not pocketpc) using Windows
Mobile 5 that syncs with Outlook using ActiveSync 4.5.
About 2 weeks ago the phone ceased to be recognized by my pc, after 18
months of perfect performance.
After doing a hard reset of my phone twice and re-installing
ActiveSync (both per per T-mobile), checking the USB jack, using a
different cord, verifying all updates are up-to-date; my phone still
remains un-recognized by my pc.
Then, I suspected it had something to do with the automatic update for
Windows to Service Pack 3 that occurred at about the same time. But I
tried to sync on my home pc, which had yet to upgrade to SP3, and had
the same problem.
Maybe it still is a result of SP3 (I found internet chatter about how
bad SP3 is).
At this point I can't get ActiveSync to even recognize that the phone
is connected to either PC.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
