Hi folks. I've got a big problem with ActiveSync. Using 4.5, I don't
get a tray icon of any kind, and am unable to kill wcescomm.exe - it
survives logouts (same PID) and requires a reboot to get rid of.
So I tried 4.2. This gives me a tray icon, and I can sync my phone to
it, but I can't get it to display the connection settings dialog - I
select the menu item, but then nothing happens. After this, I again
can't kill wcescomm.exe and I need to reboot before I can resync my
phone.
And I need to display the connection settings dialog, because I'm
actually trying to connect with the emulator...
Anyone got any ideas on why this isn't working?
I'm running on XP, and am unfortunately also running a whole corporate-
truckload of agents and virus scanners (although I still get problems
when I disable 99% of them. If I disable the last one, I can't log
in).
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi...
