Hi! My question is whether one can use software to add a COM port to
Activesync?

The problem is that my iPAQ does not connect using the USB cable provided. I
have tried to do this on several machines. A partnership has not been set up
between the iPAQ and any desktop/laptop PC.

I want to try and set up a partnership using Bluetooth / Infrared. The only
problem is that when Activesync is set up it looks for USB / Serial Port
connections. When you click File->Connection Settings it goes back to the
File->Get Connected screen rather than allow me to enter the Bluetooth COM
port.

Thanks in advance for your response

Vivek

PS: I have Visual Basic 2005, Visual C++ 2005 and Visual C# Express Editions
set up on my computer.
