ActiveSync 4.2 Error Cencomp 12-18-2006

An ambiguous error appears when trying to sync a smartphone with MS
ActiveSync 4.2. The message reads "There is not enough free memory on your
device to synchronize information. Close Programs that are running to free
up
memory, or restart the device. Support code:8007000e"

We freed up memory, restarted etc. There is ample free memory yet the
message still appears. We limited what is configured to sync so it was the
absolute minimum. Win XP SP2 is running with IE7. We downgraded to IE6
thinking that it may relate to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/185421.

Any ideas?

Hi,
Have you tried turning the Smartphone off and then on? This would close all
applications and allow the Smartphone the most free ram possible.
