I've been reading of a leaked version of ActiveSync 4.1 in pdaphonehome.com.
Is there a 4.1 in beta?

Gary,

There are rumors floating about of a version 4.1 but I've not seen or heard
of an official Beta. Given that 4.0 isn't offically released to the main
stream at this point - only WM5 devices can benefit from 4.0 - I wouldn't
put too much weight into a 4.1 version just yet. Then again, since it is a
"dot" release, it could be a maintenance release for 4.0.

Unless you have a WM5 device, I'd stick with 3.8.

Regards,

I've got 4.0 syncing with my Samsung i600 and an Hx4705. The only problem
seen so far is I can't sync uinsg WiFi, the 4705 has to b in the cradle.

Oh yeah ... beta updates are released as new build numbers, not new version
numbers. This "4.1" is bogus, probably a purloined copy of 4.0.
