ActiveSync 4.1 - Inbox Attention Required

Everything syncs successfully except the "Inbox". Inbox has the status
"Attention Required" and clicking "Resolve items..." display the helpful
message:

"Information Type Not Synchronized -- Items of one or more information types
cannot be synchronized. Disconnect and reconnect your device."

I have tried all the suggestions, scanpst, Detect and Repair..., reducing
number of messages and folders, but nothing has fixed. I have reproduced
the same problem on a system running Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2003
Server.

The WCESMgr.LOG file contains the same two errors on both machines when the
process gets to syncing the Inbox. See below:

02/10/2006 15:41:32.796 ERROR: unable to retreive folder information on .
Error: 0x80180304
02/10/2006 15:41:32.796 ERROR returned in function CObjClass::Load. hr:
0x80180304

Does anyone know what this error code indicates?

If you only select the Inbox, do you still get this error message? I'm
assuming you are synchronizing to the desktop, and not to Exchange.
