Hi - I hope this reaches somebody useful...

When I create a partnership with my device (iPaq 4150 - PPC2003) everything
is fine when removing and replacing in the cradle.
I then connect another device (e.g. another HP, Dell Axim, MDA III, etc.) on
a guest partnership. When I reconnect my iPaq I get a synchronisation error
and the following in wcesmgr.log

Does anyone know how/if this can be solved?

Thanks

Hi,

Seems like when ActiveSync attempts to access Outlook to start syncing the
items, it is unable to create an Outlook object. I would suggest you run a
Detect & Repair available under the Help menu after disconnecting the
device. Perform a soft reset and then attempt to sync.

Thanks for the reply Raj, however everything is fine until I connect a guest
device. If I then delete are re-create the partnership (without D&R or
resetting the device), it all returns to normal again ... until I connect
another guest.
