Actually, I have 2 issues.

1 - I have 2 unresolved Inbox items, which I can't find. However,
ActiveSync won't now update any of the other types of info until I can
resolve this. Are there any tips you can help me with.

2 - The other, and more pressing issue, is that when I have Inbox checked in
the Options, ActiveSync doesn't stop running, and again, nothing gets
updated in this state.
When I stop and restart the app, I end up with numerous Inbox items to
synchronise, and these increase each time (even when there is nothing new to
action).
Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

a) I have done a soft reboot
b) Laptop is running Windows 2000
c) Was working fine till last week - and I haven't made any changes

Many thanks

Hi Julian,

Have you tried running Detect & Repair feature available under the Help menu
in Outlook to scan the pst file. Additionally, you can also try running the
Scanpst utility to check for any corruption in the PST file (the file that
stores your Outlook data). Search for scanpst.exe on your computer.

You will need to run it against the .pst file. If you are unable to locate
the path of the .pst file, do the following:

1. Open Outlook.
2. Click File -> Data File Management
3. This should list all the PST files that are present. Click Open Folder
and you should find the storage path of your *.pst file.
