I do not know if this happens with earlier active sync versions, but I have
the Sprint 6700 and if I set up activesync to Sync with notes. The next time
I open notes it hangs until I soft reset it. I cannot run notes at all until
I do a hard reset. If I do not Sync to notes there is no problems. It is
very repeatable.

Hi,
Do you see any error messages while you sync the notes? I assume the the
notes app is hanging on the Sprint 6700. Also, have you tried creating
another Notes folder in Outlook, moving the notes to the new folder, sync
and then adding them back until you find the note causing the problem?

Yes you are right it was the Notes app that was hanging. There was no error
message during the syncing process.
Looks like I found the note that was causing the problem.
I didn't realize that a bad document that I hadn't opened could cause the
program to hang.

Thanks,
Mike Smith

Thanks for the insight into the problem. I too would not have expected that
a bad document would prevent it from opening either.
