I have a palm Treo 700w using Active Sync to connect to our Exchange 2003
sp2 server. Typically everything works fine. Occasionally, a user will
delete a message on the phone and that change will not be reflected on the
Exchange server. The phone will show the users inbox has 20 messages, but
Outlook and the Exchange mailbox will show the user has 25 messages. When
you perform a sync on the phone or on Outlook, both report that all folders
are correctly up to date, but they clearly are not.
Has anyone else experienced problems like this?
In the past, I just manually update Outlook to have the correct messages
then delete and recreated the active sync profile on the phone. This seems
to fix it for a couple of weeks but then it gets all out of wack some how.
is there a cache or a sync list that can be checked or cleared on the
exchange server or treo to see if we can get these to sync correctly.
