Hi All,

I have just got an I-mate K-Jam and I am trying to set up for
synchronization. The active Sync program is able to synchronize the Notes
which is possible to synchronize without error message 85010014.
I have XP professional V 2002 SP 2. MS Office 2003. I have upgraded Office
to the latest and run scanpst.exe which found an error and fixed it. Router
has Firewall, but I have tried without beeing connect to the network. Norton
Internet Security disabled. Checked for script blocking with another PC-
where the active Sync is working properly. Same version of Office!

Any suggestions to what might solve this issue?

Thanks
Birte

Any suggesten

Is the problem with it not synchronizing notes, or are there other
issues (not able to sync the calendar, not being able to connect it to
the computer at all, etc.)? If it is only Notes, do the notes have
embedded documents, etc. inside them?

It is only synchronizing the notes. The Calendar, e-mail, Tasks and Contacts
fails to synchronize. The only error message is ths 85010014 message an does
not give much information. I have tried each one alone for synchronization
without luck. I have also tried the link in the other answer here, but
nothing helps.

Have you tried running ScanPST and running Help -> Detect and Repair
in Outlook then reinstalling ActiveSync? What firewall and antivirus
programs are you running?

I run SCANPST.EXE and it did repair. But it still did not work.
Firewall is Norton Internet Security and Norton ANtiVirus. I have also
firewall in the router which is Router Linksys WRT54GX
I have trie to sync when Norton is disabled. There is no difference.
