Hi :)

I've got somewhat of a puzzle. I've got 4 phones - all running pocket pc
2003 second edition - all setup to run active sync on inbox, contacts and
calender towards the exchange server.

1 phone syncs with the server just fine - no problems at all. This phone can
sync all 4 accounts with no problems what so ever.
Now the other 3 phones (2 of then running the same firmware as the first and
the last running a newer version) cannot sync with the server but get
HTTP_400 bad request.

Trying to solve this problem I've run diagnostics on the server and on the
client with no results :( - but then while trying to debug I had to try
different accounts and somewhere I forgot to check the "remember password"
button and failed to enter the correct password. So I had to enter the
password again - and voila - it worked.

I tried this approach on all 3 non-syncing phone and to my suprise it
worked - on first password request just send a blank - on second password
reuqest enter the correct password and it syncs perfectly.

Although this works it's not very usable in the day to day life - so if
anyone could please explain me why and how to solve this problem, I would be
most grateful :)

Happy hunting

Best regards
Steffen Balslev

Hi,
Have you tried deleting the server on the device that has the blank password
set? Then try re-adding it.

Deleting the server?

Removing the server qdn? and adding it again - yes tried that - doesn't make
any difference :(
