 My XP system has multiple users with fast user switching. Each time I switch
users it starts ActiveSync (Version 4.5). I had edited the registry and
changed ActiveSync to auto start for one user instead of all. However at the
next Microsoft update it changed the registry back. Also when this happens
it disables the USB connection for ActiveSync. Is there a permanent way to
make ActiveSync start for only one user?

 Hi,
Fast user switching is incompatible with ActiveSync. You need to disable
fast user switching and logout/login each time to have it work correctly.
