Hello,

I installed a new 80 GB hard drive in an Acer (1690 series) laptop.
This new hard drive replaced the old one. I then ran the Acer system/
recovery CDs to install Windows XP Home on the new drive. The
recovery process seemed to execute without error. However, now when
the PC is started, the message "Operating System Not Found" displays.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
