Okay.... i seem to have fixed it. It was apparently something with the
network logon cache on the workstation
I went into User Accounts, selected my user and then clicked on the "Manage
my network passwords" link, removed all the stored passwords and now i can
get back on the shares again.
Hope this helps anyone else running into this problem in the future.
