when dialing to check office voice mail, how do you get the phone to
recognize two asterisks back to back? After I type the first asterisk I get
a "P" when typing the second one and cannot check my voice mail at work.

You might want to give a try to keypress emulators, which are particularly
useful not only in this case, but also with, say, Opera Mini, the,
currently, most recommended Web browser for Windows Mobile.

I've explained EVERYTHING you'll need to know at
http://www.pocketpcmag.com/blogs/index.php?blog=3&p=2246&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1
, in my Button Enhancer Bible. (Yes, I know it's looooooooooooong, but
you'll find it highly useful.) Note that, as you must issue two consequent
"*" keuypresses, your case is exactly the same as with Opera Mini's full
screen switch - therefore, you'll be able to use the scripts I've written
for Opera Mini.

caribe657,

Hey, I'm thinking of buying a Tilt real soon. What do you think of this
smartphone? I'm a business person on the move, and I want a phone with a
lot of features.

Thanks!
Scott

If you're a business-minded person (meaning no great multimedia (incl.
playing back non-transcoded videos) / camera / gaming capabilities), then,
the Kaiser will be your best bet.
