Hi,
With ActiveSync 4.5.0, after my iPaq syncs, it then resets all the
USB ports on my laptop (and everything attached to the docking station
and other USB hubs).
So not only my scanner resets, but I lose my mouse, my keyboard, and
once everything is back, it detects the iPaq and syncs again!

Any way to fix this very annoying problem?

Thanks for any help

Sincerely,
Steve JORDI

That doesn't happen on either of my systems. I think you'll have to give us
the system details for any hope of a correction. It's possible that you are
trying to pull too much power for your hub(s) to supply. Plug the hubs into
the wall, if you aren't already. You should probably give us the layout of
the USB bus, too.

You may be right, I plugged it on an USB port directly on my
docking station and for now, it seems to be ok and not reset
all the USB ports. Let's keep our fingers crossed :-)
