I have a 2 year-old Fujitsu E7110 laptop, and the part where the cable
from the AC adapter connects to the laptop proper is bad: it overheats, and
the LED is often flickering.
As a geek, I'd like to try fixing this myself. Besides, I can not give up my
machine for the 10-30 days it often takes a repair shop to do anything with
it (actual numbers from previous misfortunes)
I had tried disassembling this laptop in the past, but it proved very
difficult, and there are no repair manuals or disassembly tutorials
specific to E-series Lifebooks that I could find on the net.
So, besides "give it to a repair shop", does anyone have any suggestions?
