GIS Project Manager 6 months Phoenix, AZ 85051
Required Experience:
Project Management Experience in GIS data collection/conversion
ESRI GIS environment/tools exposure
Proven project management record
Business or technology project experience in electric utility
Familiarity with GIS terminology and the various primary and 3rd party
vendors who perform GIS related activities.
Involvement with contract, RFI, and RFP activities
Key systems Development Life Cycle skills include - Requirements
gathering, and Scope/expectation Management
Preferred Experience:
ArcFM related exposure
Business or technology project experience with Vegetation trimming.
Experience with LIDAR technology
Business or technology project experience in Electric Transmission
Project experience with ArcIMS or ArcGIS
Project experience with standard industry work management systems
(e.g. Maximo, Logica, Indus Passport)
Familiarity with raster images and geo-referencing images into GIS
data bases
GIS Conversion specific contract, RFI, and RFP activities
Minimum Education or Equivalent Years Experience:
BS Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience managing GIS projects.
Required GIS experience must be recent.
