Yesterday I made tons of changes to my contacts & today my Pocket PC won't
sync. I'm not very techy, but NEED to get this to work. Any help would be
appreciated ... in non-geek language if possible.

Thanks. :)

What is the error message you receive when you attempt to sync with your
Pocket PC? Have you reset the device and tried again? What are you using
to sync: PC or GPRS/WI-FI?

It doesn't have an error #. It just states that the synchroization could not
be completed & to re-connect my device & try again, which I have done several
times. I donwloaded the newer Activesync version, but still nothing seems to
be helping. I am syncing with a cradle connected to my PC.

The first thing to try is to use Outlook's Detect and Repair menu item from
the Help menu. Do this while the device is *not* in the cradle, then try
again.

If that doesn't help, you're going to have to get a little bit more
technical for us. Did you recently install or enable any firewall software
on your PC? If so, turn it off again and try syncing once more. If you're
not sure, ask whoever it is that helps you when you have PC questions.

No, I haven't installed any new software. I had already tried the Detect &
Repair, but tried it again. The sync process is normally very fast. Today
it takes a long time looking for changes and now it's showing 301 changes. I
tried to go & delete some old contacts to try to make it easier, thinking
maybe the memory on my device is too small. (I don't have THAT many
contacts....under 400). One it identifies the items not sychronized it runs
and runs for several minutes, but eventually comes up with the message,
"Synchronization cannot be completed successfully. Reconnect your device and
try again. If the problem persists, see the Microsoft Activesync
troubleshooter." That doesn't have the problem that I am addressing. I
appreciate your help.
