What's the catch?
Unless you are a charity, no-one does anything so generous for nothing.
Specially using a gmail address.
If you deny that, then it's a scam ...
The last overgenerous host I nearly signed up to had a totally ludicrous fee
for any domain change; more than a years hosting with a decent host (who
would charge zero for domain changes).
