Hi!

My MCE has a TV card with 2 built in tuners, and this should make it
possible to record one program while watching another program.

Well, not for me, and the MCE says "Cannot Play Program", when I try to
swith to another channel when recording. And my retailer says I then have to
have two connections into the machine!?!?

I really don't understand anything!!!

I thought that one TV-card with 2 tuners could actually record one channel
and watch another through the same antenna-in cabel to my machine. Have I
misunderstood something here!?!?

Regards, Henrik

Yes, you will have to have something connected to each input on your TV card.

If you have an antenna connectd to your antenna in connection it should
work. The card has an internal antenna input splitter that sends the input
to both tuners.
If you are using Coax out from a cable or satellite STB then since your STB
can only output one channel at a time over that connection thers is no way
to receive two channels.
If you are using a STB the only way to get two channels into the dual tuner
card is with 2 STBs each one of them feeding their S-Video output and audio
into separate inputs on your tuner card.

Your understanding sounds correct, why don't you tell exactly what you
have piece-by-piece with model numbers.
