I have Vista Home Premium at home with Windows Mobile Device Center and XP
at work with ActiveSync 4.2. Before Vista I had two partnerships on my Axim
so I could sync with both computers which at the time were both XP. When I
installed Mobile Device Center it allowed for two partnerships - I deleted
the old partnership with my old XP computer and established a new on for the
Vista computer. I am running Office 2007 at home and Office 2003 at the
office. Syncing Outlook with the home Vista computer goes well. And my
office XP computer connects via Activesync with the Axim. For example I can
use its Explore function to transfer files between the office computer and
the Axim. However, I always get a sync error when connected tp to the
office XP computer when it trys to sync my Outlook items. Is this not
doable; i.e., sync Outlook 2007 via Mobile Device Center using one
computer/partnership with Outlook 2003 on a second computer using XP,
Activesync and Outlook 2003? Any workarounds?
