I have one PDA (Dell Axim) and two PC's (Dell laptop and Dell desktop)
that I sync with. Both are using a USB connection and the Axim cradle.
The laptop running XP Pro SP2 and ActiveSync 4.5; and the desktop is
running Vista Home Premium with the Windows Mobile Device Center.

For some reason it won't sync everything. It get's most entries, but not
all. It does not seem to differentiate between the various types of
events (multiple days, single hour, recurring, etc.), nor which computer
initiated the entry. It almost seems random.

Anyone else experience this and have a cure. Dell support is worthless.

Thanks.

Hi Todd,

Could you explain the issue in greater detail. What did you mean by - It
does not seem to differentiate between the various types of events (multiple
days, single hour, recurring, etc.), nor which computer initiated the entry.
It almost seems random.

I am having the same problem. I have the new Samsung Blackjack II smartphone.
My laptop at work running latest Active Sync 4.5 and Win XP (SP2). Home
computer is running Vista Ultimate with Win Mobile Device Center (most recent
version). Both computers have same version of Outlook 2007 with all updates.
There are various calendar entries that appear on my Laptop and Smartphone,
but do not appear after (apparent) sync with Home PC. For example yesterday I
added an apointment for Jan 2 on laptop at work. It sync'd onto my smartphone
fine. After sync with my home computer later that night, it does not appear
in my Outlook calendar (but is still on the phone). I have the settings set
to sync with both computers.

Hi,
When you sync does it complete sucessfully? There can be problems with
appointments hanging up the synchronization process.
