1-Search - More than just search!

1-Search lets your visitors to search your site for the term they specify with different Boolean search options - search for exact phrase, any of the words and all the words.

Search results page is created accordingly to the search engines positioning guidelines. All the search terms are properly inserted into <meta name="description" ...> and <meta name="keywords" ...> tags, as well as page title, images "Alt" text, page headers, first 1.5K of the HTML code and so on.

If web page design has more priority for you than search engines positioning, you may want to choose to "wrap" your submission results into a template that's closely matches your site's appearance. You can also call the search form from within an HTML file as SSI procedure.

1-Search creates submission form by itself, so your search page is ready as soon as the script is installed. You can also create the HTML code using the admin utility and search from static HTML pages.

After the search is performed, the term goes to a log file depending on the search results. If no pages at your site were found, the terms are logged in "not found" log file and vice versa. You can always analyze the logs in real time with administration utility supplied with the script.

Links to affiliate search partners, such as Overture, Amazon and such, are inserted with the keywords so that a visitor can continue their search elsewhere, providing you with some affiliate commissions.

The search results are sorted with best matches first.
